Hi there everyone! This is all looking a bit new and shiny isn’t it? In order to give the new and improved website a spin I thought I’d give you all a quick update as to what’s been going on and what my plans are for the time being.
The EP!
Yup, I’ve been threatening this for what feels like an eternity at this point but there’s been a lot of radio silence in relation to this project. That combined with my lack of appearences at open mic’s lately has led some people to believe that the project is dead. Not so folks! I’ve been plugging away in the background and work is progressing nicely. I’ve decided on the final tracklist (there’s gonna be 8 songs on there!) and I even have a title.
So I’m thrilled to announce that my debut EP will be called “Creature of Habit” and it will be released in 2025! More news will be shared here about the exact release date, the cost and potential launch events!
Open Mic’s/Playing Live
Remember when I used to do those? I miss them, I want to do them again and I will be doing them again. I can’t be precise on when and where because of those lovely personal reasons that tend to pop up a lot when you’re in your 30’s, married and working full-time, but I will be back as soon as.
Other Music Projects
If you check out the gallery page you’ll see some photos from me playing in a house band at a birthday party. That was immense fun and I’m chomping at the bit to do creative stuff with other talented folks, so I’ll be snatching at any opportunities that arise there too.
Ooh, and I also have a song appearing on a charity EP in the new year. It’s for a very worthy cause and more info will be shared here in due course.
Writing
I’ve not been doing as much lately (between everything already mentioned in this update you can imagine that fitting everything into a meagre 24 hours a day might be proving a touch difficult). I do enjoy sharing whats on my mind though and I plan to continue doing so, even as the emphasis of this website becomes more focused on my music. The old writings remain available on my Medium page which is linked in the social media icons up above and down below.
